A Condenser Stereo Microphone with High Directivity Index
This is to introduce a short, lightweight MS stereo microphone designed as a combination of a shotgun for the middle signal and a figure-B for the side signal. Using a small control box separate from the microphone, the level of the side signal in relation to the middle signal can be varied in six 3-dB steps over a range between +6dB and -9dB to modify the base width. The microphone signals are available either as middle/side(MS) information or -with the aid of an integrated matrix amplifier - in the form of left/right (XY) information.
