Processing of Audio Signals with Extended Precision by TMS 32010
Originally the instruction set of the TMS 32010 is suitable for the processing of 16 bit word length samples with 16 bit coefficients. Several algorithms have been improved for the processor, which can ensure much more exact (up to 28*28 bits) internal precision. There are three subvarieties of the extended precision programs because of the data word length conversions. At last the paper describes the theoretical structure of a two channel multiprocessor modular processing system.
