Document Thumbnail

Precise azimuth integrity is required for flat high frequency reproduction from audio cassettes. The special azimuth requirements for mass manufactured prerecorded cassettes are reviewed. A precise in-cassette measuring device is described, including the results of its use in industry testing. The device measures the azimuth on music or test tones and has applications in quality assurance.
