Document Thumbnail

Some problems arising from the use of a sine-wave signal for testing audio analog-to-digital converters are described. The characteristics of a more suitable test signal are discussed. An improved test signal is then proposed to satisfy many of the desired features. One technique for digitally synthesizing this test signal is described.
