A 2-channel integrated circuit is described which can perform all commonly used professional audio-quality dynamic range control functions. Design considerations and performance will be discussed as well as an overview of the implementation. Applications illustrated will be compressor/limiters, companding noise reduction, and single-ended noise reduction.
