A Low Complexity, Linear Phase Graphic Equalizer
A linear phase graphic equalizer is proposed which performs a bandsplitting of the frequency spectrum from 0-20 kHz in 25 noninteracting bands. When all the band gains are identical, the equalizer is equivalent to a pure boost or cut with no amplitude distortion. The techniques used in the implementation of the filterbank gives an efficient structure which may be realized using two DSP 56001 signal processors.
