Computer Control of Theatrical Sound Systems

Document Thumbnail

Two opposing forces are at work in the conceptual design of complex computer controlled theatre sound systems: the need to preserve spontaneous live operator control over as many important functions as possible, and the need to preprogram certain complex functions which may be invoked either automatically or on demand but which normally would be impossible for an operator to perform manually.
