Much discussion has evolved around the subject of phase error in stereo radio broadcast cartridge systems. A survey has been made of phase measurements at radio stations using the same equipment that those stations used for on-air spots and music. The measurements taken are described and it is shown that much of the phase error is in excess of 50° at 10 kHz.
