There have been a number of articles in recent months on the use of three loudspeakers to reproduce two stereo channels. As yet there has been no rigirous analysis of the principles involved, although most writers do agree on the benefits of such an arrangement. The usual advantages mentioned being the elimination of the -hole in the middle,- simplicity of channel balancing, and savings of space and cost.
