Measurement of the frequency response of an electrodynamic moving-coil loudspeaker at low frequencies by means of the reciprocity method is described. The loudspeaker is measured as a microphone, and the frequency response, the efficiency, the Q factor, the transducer factor, Bl, and the equivalent volume of its suspension are obtained from its assessed sensitivity as a receiver. The method is based on the reciprocity theorem of electroacoustic transducers.
