The Dispersion of Re-Entrant Exponential Horns

Document Thumbnail

The failure of simple wave theory to accurately predict the -6dB dispersion angles for re-entrant exponential horns led to the formulation of a set of easily used empirical relationships based solely on the analysis of experimental data. How the relationships were obtained, their application and their limitations are shown.
