By plotting a room in perspective as seen from the loudspeaker array vantage point, overlays can be used to show where the direct sound from any combination of transducers will be delivered and how the transducers interact. The method yields the correct train, elevation and skew angles for each transducer and provides a base from which the effective Q in any direction, along with the level of the direct sound at any listening point, can be calculated.
