Document Thumbnail

The design and performance characteristics of a sound system in a horseshoe-shaped stadium having a seating capacity of 60,000 are presented. The system employs a large central loudspeaker cluster and a distributed loudspeaker array which is digitally delayed to be in time synchronization with the central cluster. Adjustable equalization is provided to allow wide bandwidth even under adverse weather conditions. The console provides auto expansion and compression.
