The problems of sound recording with simultaneous picture recording for films and television are briefly described. It is shown that the use of multitrack recording can have a favorable influence on the production and, above all, will substantially improve the quality of the recording. Finally an example is given of electronic video recording with simultaneous multitrack sound recording.
