The phase correction stereo decoder (PCSD) is used to demodulate the two signals of standard FM broadcasts. The PCSD differs from the conventional stereo decoder as a subsystem is included to correct the phase errors that occur between the pilot signal and the suppressed carrier of the multiplexed signal.
