An extremely flexible yet easily settable equalizing system combines the advantages of four shelf response controls within the audio range and two peaking controls above and below. A dynamic range of 120 dB is achieved at flat settings through the use of a combination of discrete and integrated circuit low noise operational amplifiers, all operated at near unity gain.
