Design of an Automated Graphic Equalizer
An innovative, automatic graphic equalizer has been devised, greatly simplifying the process of equalization. Readouts provide real-time information for adjustment of the 40dB range, octave-band control up or down, thereby flat frequency response in an acoustic environment. Stadiums, studios, halls, etc., can thus be automatically equalized to better than ±0.3dB in a short time, making the tedious chore of equalizing a problem of the past.
