Musicassette Interchangeability: The Facts Behind the Facts
Home recordings made on blank tapes in cassettes do not pose any question during playback on the same equipment. Musicassettes, however, shall be interchangeable on all types of playback equipment, be it either a stereophonic or a monophonic version, designed for this type of carrier. Factors influencing this interchangeability are discussed in a step by step procedure, with the purpose of improving the understanding of the contributing causes.
