A detailed description of a high power solid state amplifier, which incorporates electronic circuits for instantaneous protection against over-dissipation and damage due to load mismatch, overheating, inductive or capacitive load and short circuit. The audio output is limited but not interrupted in the event of overload or improper thermal conditions. Input and output transformers are utilized for isolation and power distribution.
