SA cassette systems for studio purposes must meet specific requirements, these will be numerated in the introduction. A consideration of the systems already known in the light of these requirements will follow, leading up to the reasons for the introduction of a new system. The technical structure purpose as well as the technical data achieved by this will be explained. In conclusion, aspects of the future application of this system in broadcast automation will be presented.
