The Scientific Design of a Three-Driver Loudspeaker System
The engineering design of an 80-liter, vented-box-woofer system, three-driver loudspeaker system is given in detail. The choice of a woofer and measurements of its mechanical parameters make possible the design of a cabinet. A closed box mid-range system and a horn tweeter complete the loudspeaker system. The design of a crossover network is given. The measured performance verifies the enthusiastic response fo the listeners.
