The Development of a Sandwich-Construction Loudspeaker System

The development of a complete loudspeaker system is described, based on moving-coil loudspeakers with cones of sandwich construction of immense rigidity. Piston action is obtained over a wide range. Other features are described, such as the unique construction of the cabinet, which reduces 'boxy' coloration.
