Choosing a Formula for Calculating the Absorption Coeffcient from Reverberation Chamber Measurements

Document Thumbnail

The several formulas for reverberation time commonly found in the literature are presented in a form suitable for calculating the absorption coefficient of samples of absorbent material. Differences between these formulas are described in some detail, and areas of applicability of each are discussed.
