In the analysis of a nonlinear circuit, output of the circuit can be represented by a power series in terms of input. For a cosinusoidal input it has been shown that the relations between the harmonic amplitudes and the coefficients of the power series can be obtained simply by expanding the cosine terms. Two sets of equations have been presented using the actual input, rather than the normalized input, to the circuit.
