Personalized Music Service Based on Parametric Object Oriented Spatial Audio Coding
By the growth of the portable music players' market and the trend of convergence, almost every mobile device is able to play music. MP3 players and mobile phones are perfect platform for personalized music service as they are always accompanied with users. From the development of spatial audio coding such as MPEG Surround, the concept of object-oriented spatial audio coding were emerged, and the key application area of object-oriented spatial audio coding is personalized interactive re-mix of given music. In this paper, it is proposed to utilize backward compatible MP3Remix for personalized music service. Also, real-time implementation of MP3Remix player is shown and expected business models for personalized music service are suggested.
