A Functional Audio Control System That Meets the Professional Audio Engineer's Responsibility to the Industry

Document Thumbnail

Today's listening public has become very sophisticated in their demands for personal entertainment: first hi-fi, then stereo, and now four and eight track tape equipment. Millions of dollars are being spent each year for new entertainment centers, and more modern equipment to up-date existing systems. With this vast market, there has followed more advanced, delicate sound reproducing equipment. Those of us, who have the task of recording the original sound, have the burden of meeting the public's demands. Shifted to us, then, is this responsibility. Prior to the latest development, we could record more than could be economically reproduced, but now millions of homeowners hear all that we record. We must meet the challenge. We, at SAMBO SOUND STUDIOS, have taken what we believe to be a very advanced step forward by the design of a modern audio control system that records all that the human ear can detect, without yielding to distortion and self-generating noise.
