The wish for an electronic piano has been expressed for many years. Music schools are interested in an instrument which can be used for group instruction. After a discussion of the properties of a normal piano with strings, an electronic instrument is described, having many advantages, such as small size, easy transportation, no tuning needed and the possibility of earphone listening.
