Infrared Listening Systems in the Theatre

Infrared listening systems offer an opportunity for the hearing impaired patron to enjoy theatrical events. Increased intelligibility over conventional self-contained hearing aids is possible. Cost effective systems have been installed in legitimate theatres of all sizes. Basic infrared technology, system design, and installation techniques are discussed in this report.
