CAD (Calculator Assisted Design) of Sound Systems, Recording Studios and Architectural Acoustics Using the Programmable Scientific Calculator
Comprehensive designs of sound systems, recording studios, and architectural acoustics are often not fully achieved because the designer does not have access to a computer system to handle complex, lengthy and repetitious calculations. The use of a full-function programmable and portable scientific calculator system with readily available software is described. Several examples are given where complex calculations are performed with the use of a single key on the calculator. Results of calculations can be sorted and plotted, allowing more rapid use by the designer.
