Active Loudspeaker System Using Monolithic Integrated Circuits

The most common method to drive an HiFi speaker system is to use a wideband power amplifier featuring a frequency response flat over the whole audio band. In most cases, the audio signals of the two individual channels are splitted between woofer and tweeter by using passive LC crossover filters.
