Nonlinear Model of Condenser Microphone Capsule
Physical factors, which cause nonlinear distortion at different parts of condenser microphones, are analyzed. De-tail mathematical models of these phenomena determine dependence of distortions on acoustical, mechanical, constructive and electrical parameters. The nonlinear models allows to calculate frequency - and level - dependent sensitivity and harmonic distortion for capsules of different condenser microphones fairly accurately. The systematic nonlinear model of capsule is received due to incorporation and approximations of the most important factors. Comparison of the calculation and measurement results is presented. Recommendations for nonlinear distortion reducing in process of microphones designing are given.
