Microphone Calibration at Extreme Frequencies and Sound Pressure Levels

Methods of calibration over the frequency range from 0.01 cps to 200 kc and sound pressure levels up to 180 db (re: 2 x 10/-4µbar) are presented. These techniqu3es include the infrasonic pistonphone, reciprocity calibration, free field calibration, plane and standing wave tubes, shock tube and the electrostatic actuator.
