Audio Engineer with 20+ years of experience and credits in more than 1,500 titles on vinyl, CD, DVD and Blu-Ray. Andres runs his own mastering facility with stereo and surround capability, working for artists from Latin America, the US, Spain, France, Germany and many other parts of the world. Andres Mayo Mastering won 5 Gardel Technical Excellence Awards in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2011. As a producer, Andres received 2 Grammys for his 7-DVD + 7-CD Tango Collection named "Buenos Aires, Days and Nights of Tango". He has been elected AES VP Latin America two consecutive times, holding that position from 2005 thru 2009. Recently elected Chairman of the AES President´s Advisory Group and Vice Chair of the TC-ARMS (Audio Recording and Mastering System Technical Committee), he also served as Chairman of the AES Argentina Chapter for 4 years (2001-2005) and judged at the AES International Recording Competitions in London, New York, San Francisco, Vienna, Paris, Munich and Budapest.
