Oliver Thiergart

Oliver Thiergart is a Senior Researcher at the International Audio Laboratories Erlangen. He received the Dipl.-Ing. (M.Sc.) degree in Mediatechnology from the Ilmenau University of Technology, Germany, in 2008. He then joined the Audio Department of the Fraunhofer IIS in Erlangen. In 2011, he became a member of the International Audio Laboratories Erlangen where he successfully defended his Ph.D. in the field of parametric spatial sound processing in 2015. Oliver's current research interests include parametric spatial sound processing, microphone arrays, spatial filtering, and parameter estimation.
