Publication date – authors please note:
Papers will be published online no earlier than 10 days before the event.

Dear AES 140th presenting author,

Please take a minute to review the following important items related to your presentation at the AES 140th Convention in Paris, France.

1. Registration
A special registration page for presenting authors has been created. We have assigned each presenting author a unique VIP code that was recently emailed to you; this code can be used by only one person. Your personal information from the paper-submission site has been used to populate this page, saving you the trouble of reentering it. You will be able to update this information if it has changed. Please register online as soon as possible. Only one presenting author is allowed per paper. All nonpresenting authors should register here. You can pick up your badge at the registration desk at the convention center.

2. Fill out the online facilities form.
All authors giving lecture presentations fill out the online form as soon as possible.

3. Check the current papers schedule or current eBriefs schedule to find the day and time of your presentation.

4. Presenting authors receive a free complete set of convention papers, which will be available to download no earlier than 10 days before the convention (only those authors who have paid for a Four day All Access badge get the free download of papers). Information on the download will be emailed to you later. Please note that authors will not receive any printed copies of their papers.

5. Meet in Presentation Room 30 minutes before start of session. Please plan on being on site at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of your session. Meet in the presentation room at that time, or immediately following the preceding session to meet the session chair and to test audio-visual needs. All lecture papers are scheduled for 30-minute presentations, which will include a short introduction of the presenting author and a 5-minute question-and-answer session at the end. Authors are requested to remain in the lecture room throughout the session to answer follow-up questions that may arise during or after other papers in the session.

6. Poster guidelines.
Authors making poster presentations should download the guidelines for posters. Authors should go to the poster area 30 minutes before the start of their session to get pushpins for securing posters to the poster boards.

7. PowerPoint Slides.
If you'd like to create a presentation using the AES Paris template you can now download the PowerPoint template.

8. Further questions?

If you have any further questions contact Bill McQuaide or the papers co-chairs.

Authors who need letters of invitation to obtain a visa should contact the 140th Convention Chair.
