Bryan Martin began his audio endeavors in Greenwich Village in the mid 80s at Platinum Island Studios. This launched a recording and producing career that led from New York City to London, Prague, Berlin, Memphis, and Austin. Artists ranged from singer songwriters Rufus Wainwright and Mark Eitzel, jazz artists Dave Liebmann and Dr. Billy Taylor, the classic roots of Pinetop Perkins, and world music productions for David Byrne. In 2003 he opened Sonosphere Mastering in Montreal.
In 2013, in search of big ideas, he enrolled as a PhD candidate at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music. He now spends his days crunching those big ideas, and teaches some physics on the side.
