Abstract:
This opening meeting of the Student Delegate Assembly will introduce new events and election proceedings, announce candidates for the coming year’s election for the North/Latin America Regions, announce the finalists in the recording competition categories, and announce any upcoming events of the convention. Students and student sections will be given the opportunity to introduce themselves and their past/upcoming activities. In addition, candidates for the SDA election will be invited to the stage to give a brief speech outlining their platform.
All students and educators are invited and encouraged to participate in this meeting. Also at this time there will be the opportunity to sign up for the mentoring sessions, a popular activity with limited space for participation.
