This Tribeca fixture has recorded hits for The Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, Missy Elliot, and hundreds of internationally celebrated artists since opening in 1979. Known as the “Abby Road of Rap,” Chung King has produced records that have sold more than 300 million copies worldwide and gained international attention in the 1980s by spawning the landmark commercial presence of rap.
