Taking place at the world-famous TCL Chinese 6 Theatres on Hollywood Boulevard, the program of events will bring together professionals from all aspects of the audio entertainment industry to cover a variety of relevant topics and issues, including audio design for cinema, low-frequency management, immersive and 3-D audio, object-based workflow and more. Music Induced Hearing Disorders

AES 58th Conference

Aalborg, Denmark, June 28–30, 2015

The adverse effects of excessive music exposure are widely recognized and addressed in modern societies, yet there is a continued need for innovative solutions that may help prevent hearing damage, or compensate intelligently when the damage is done. This conference intends to bring international focus on technological options for safer music exposure, such as hearing protection strategies and technology, conditions for populations at risk and risk behaviors, methods for sound exposure monitoring and assessment of hearing, among others. Please note that the paper submission deadline has been extended to March 11th!

Sound Reinforcement Engineering and Technology

AES 59th Conference

Montreal, Canada, July 15–17, 2015

For the first time in over 25 years, the Audio Engineering Society will host an international conference dedicated to sound reinforcement, to be held in Montreal, July 15–17, 2015. It will bring together master practitioners, developers, users, and scientists to share their knowledge, know-how, and working methods in the art and science of sound reinforcement, control, and distribution. The call for contributions closes March 4th.
