Equalization is compensate for frequency response irregularities in the acoustical environment has now become readily available, and is being increasingly applied, with the proliferation of expensive octave-band equalizers. The basic requirements for proper equalizer adjustment are analyzed, and the low-cost, easy-to-use, accurate equalization analyzer system based upon these criteria is described.
