Inter-Channel Cross-Correlation Using Wavelet Transforms
This paper describes how correlation between multiple channels of high quality audio may be ascertained by using wavelets. The correlation is performed between dilations of the wavelet transform. This provides us with a natural form of signal representation, which can then be used to guide compression algorithms.
