New Approach to the Synthesis of Organ Pipe Sound

Document Thumbnail

The appearance of cheap digital signal processors in the electronics market allows one to conceive new techniques for the real-time synthesis of the sound of wind instruments directly based on their physical models. Problems related to the implementation of the physical model based synthesis of organ sound are discussed. Results of some experiments with this kind of synthesis are presented. Special features of the practically implemented method are discussed.
