Sound Storage and Interchange on Physical Media-Making the Most of Computer Technology
Although digital audio is well established, the real potential has still to be explored because too many products are based on tradition rather than what is possible. This paper explores computer data recording techniques and looks at the possibilities for audio. The question of media for interchange is examined, and the universal medium is shown to be an illusion.
