Aspects of the Vehicle Listening Environment

The automobile as a listening environment, presents many challenges to the OEM audio system designer due to constraints such as cabin characteristics, speaker and listener locations, and noise considerations. This paper discusses some current and new methods in dealing with these problems in the quest to optimize the vehicle as a listening environment.
