The continued fraction solution of the Riccati equation leads to equivalent circuits of an acoustic horn of any shape. In a previous paper, solution for equivalent circuits for the input impedance were described; we present here a more general solution for the equivalent circuit (T ou Pi) to the transmission through the horns. The numerical calculation is easy, and some consequences can be useful for the design of horns. Finally, we discuss the generalization for very narrow tubes (capillary tubes).
