Three methods improving trackability of CD players are described: 1. AM detection method, already used in commercial products, for players using 3 beam tracking error detection; 2. Verified DPD method, newly disclosed, for players using 1 beam tracking error detection; 3. Zero order holding method with pulse canceling technique, also newly disclosed, for any type player.
