Tempered Tone-Scale Generation From a Single Oscillator

Various methods are known for generating the frequencies of the musical tone scale. A new system is described based on semitone lowering circuits with an extremely good accuracy. One main oscillator and twelve identical integrated circuits generate the complete chromatic tone scale over eight octaves.
