The Frequency Response of Loudspeakers: On-Axis Response or Power Response?

In order to predict the spectral balance of loudspeaker systems located in living rooms, a methodical comparison of the axial pressure response, the power response, and the response in living rooms has been made. This paper summarizes this basic problem, reviews some previous work, and gives experimental results.
