A brief discussion of the Digital Fourier Transform (DFT) will be presented along with the definition of real time bandwidth. Hardware implementation of DFT for different real time performances will be discussed. A look at the whole system will include DFT hardware as a measurement system component and system performance to solve measurement problems.
