An O.E.M. loudspeaker manufacturer typically may process 500 sample requests in a year. Approximately 25 percent of these sample designs can be handled by using standard components, including selected cones. This situation gives us the opportunity to transfer this 25 percent of routine design activity to a computer, and thereby free the engineer for development work.
